Gemini is the first and only wide-style tandem board on the market. Since its launch in 2007, the Gemini has been a favorite of resorts, schools and clinics around the world.
The Gemini offers a unique windsurfing experience and brand new way to get into the sport for beginners. The new 2010 Gemini has lost some weight - over 3kg - thanks to the Star Touch deck finish replacing the need for a heavier EVA deck. The exclusive Starboard Star Touch deck finish is a textured PU clear coat that generates grip when wet, but it smooth and non- abrasive to the skin.

The Gemini for beginners: immediately get on a plane and experience the basics of high-performance windsurfing from the moment you step on board. Just hop on the front with a small sail and put experienced sailor in the back for the rode of your life.
The Gemini for schools and centers: the Gemini is a wide, stable shape that offers a platform for the coach and the
learner to sail in tandem. With the trainer sitting in front, the beginner can also learn to sail solo. As a learning aid, it’s a must-have and the Gemini is a fantastic way to start windsurfing.
The Gemini and the iDO: for 2010: the Gemini includes lateral screws which make it work with the iDO mast base system. The iDO can be used by a solo sailor using the centre mast track, or for the beginner using the front mast track.
When the iDO is used in the centre mast track by a single handed sailor, it is simply the easiest windsurfing set up ever. The extremely large and stable board, in addition to the iDO, keeps the sail upright and as a result, windsurfing becomes so easy it’s almost silly. When the Gemini is used with the iDO in the front, the combination of the two offers the potential to get beginners hooked within 10 seconds: to see beginners smile as they feel the sensation of catching a plane and flying on the water from the start is simply incredible. Like tandem skydiving with a beginner, there’s no need to learn or practice.
