JP Twinser Wave Windsurfing Board 2010

KAULI'S TWINSERS
Kauli Seadi, 3 times "Wave World Champion" was an inspiration for wave riding with his first "Twinser" boards which utilized the now popular twin fin design. Making it possible for every rider to carve out more turns on every wave proved he was on to something special. This innovation pushed many riders to new levels of wave riding.
With the success and overwhelming user feedback, we just had to extend the range to 5 sizes.
Kauli's experience, imagination and professional approach helped Werner to develop a line of boards offering high performance in huge, mast high waves as well as those days when average size and shape are the norm.
SHAPE
A deep double concave with a unique V flow is one features of the special bottom shape Kauli and Werner developed. Significant advantages have come out of this innovation:
- Deep, strong grip in turns and unparalleled lift from a flatter curve inside the concaves allows the board ride freely with amazing comfort and speed
- Smaller fin sizes can be used as a result of the more efficient bottom shape, obviously making for a looser and more exciting ride
- No board speed is lost in a tight turn, allowing the rider to get back to the lip of the wave and tear it up
- Board and rider stay in the power zone of the wave, that perfect section where serious wave riders get the most power - and satisfaction
Overall width and length stayed quite similar to last year's line keeping the boards very compact and loose on the water. However, the tail width was reduced allowing the curved outline to be used more efficiently. As a result, super turns come naturally and changing from rail to rail is a breeze.
SUMMARY
The new Twinser series have loads of control in the turn letting you ride more aggressively and commit hard with their tight turning characteristics - nothing grips like a Twinser. You are guaranteed to take your wave riding to a new level, regardless of prior experience. Bottom turns and cut backs, like you have never experienced before, will blow you away. The Twinsers shine in side on to side offshore conditions - if you mainly sail in the onshore stuff consider the new Wave line.
THE SKY'S THE LIMIT
An all new twin fin set up compliments Jason Polakow's signature line.
Jason is credited with a truly unique style by the wave riding community given his extreme big wave riding skills and unmatched fast, powerful carving style - his boards have been a benchmark in performance for many years.
Jason saw the advantages of the Twinser set up and his board development and design perform best in the
conditions he loves the most - big, down the line, wave sailing.
SHAPE
Werner took his knowledge from the Twinser line - which he designed with Kauli Seadi, the current World Champion. He refined fast, extreme turning maneuvers and added greater control for bigger waves. Speed is the name of the game on this board and the rails just maintain the momentum giving you confidence when you need it most - turning in front of massive waves!
UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS
- The most difference is board width which is designed for total control in serious surf. This is achieved with a narrow outline and sleek pin tail
- The most obvious difference is board width which is designed for total control in serious surf. This is achieved with a narrow outline and sleek pin tail.
- Unmatched stability is maintained by a concave tail - even at full speed. The tail tracks smoothly with no slide in the bottom turn.
- The bottom shape has double concaves in the front fading into a single concave in the tail area. This unique design gives the rider the ability to quickly change from rail to rail and get an instant grip on the new side.
- The boards offer a very loose ride, with great lift given the bottom design further allowing the boards to plane and accelerate smoothly and easily.
- Even in smaller waves and side on conditions, the performance of these boards will knock you out.
- A revolutionary fin design gives the board unbelievable speed and control in combination with unparalleled turning ability, particularly in the cut back.
SUMMARY
Twinser Wave boards have been specially designed for sailing in medium to big waves. They deliver the unbelievable turning for which Twinsers are famous, yet provide the control and confidence you need in big waves. If you enjoy a rush and a ride in mast high and bigger, or if you simply prefer slightly narrower boards Jason's Twinsers are your best choice - otherwise you might consider Kauli's Twinser Waves or the new Wave line.
