GPS Speed Surfing - Since waterproof battery powered GPS units became affordable this has become increasingly popular. As they say on GPSSPEEDSURFING.com It is all about FUN and Respect for what you, your fellow Surfers, and the equipemt can do with the forces of nature. (ok I added the nature part...)
The most accurate way to measure is the best average time over a 10 second period, then take 5 of these 10 second readings at the same spot on the same day. HOWEVER this is Thailand not Europe so lets just make it your best recorded time.
These are the classes.
LB - Longboard, any wind powered vessal over 3.5M long
SB - Any wind powered vessal under 3.5M long
To get started this will be an honesty system, until I work out how you guys can upload data from your units to this website.
Please send me via the link below:
- Country you wish to represent.
- Best speed over a 10sec period
- Name or alias
